We are so excited for you to join in all the fun at the Harborne Lights Up event, taking place on Saturday 13th November!
After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Harborne Lights Up is BACK and ready to get the people of Harborne into the festive swing of things.
Join us between 4pm and 6pm for the return of Harborne Lights Up, where there will be a live stage and performances, market stalls, free face painting, you can even meet Father Christmas!
We also have another VERY special guest Perry, the official mascot for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, who will be making an appearance on the day to help switch on the Christmas Lights!
This year as a nod to the challenging time many members of our community have had being seperated through the pandemic, the Harborne Christmas Tree will have an extra meaning. The Harborne Village Community Tree, will invite you all to tie a ribbon of support to someone who can’t be near or who they wish to remember at this poignant time of year
Organisers hope the local community will welcome the new addition to this year's celebrations and hope the Community Tree will allow loved ones to be remembered and celebrated. Ribbons will be available on the day, and all members of the community are invited to continue adding to the Community Tree throughout the Festive season.
The lights will be switched on at 6pm, and we hope you will take the time to enjoy Harborne and our amazing businesses following the event.
