Today we’re spotlighting Silver and Love, selected by of the community as a favourite on Facebook and Instagram!
We asked the owner Richard about how Silver and Love began and being an independent in Harborne. Read the Q+A below!
- Tell us about Silver and Love and your journey to Harborne!
An independent business to me means one that should reflect the community. Silver and Love is singular in reflecting the customers in the community and, in this area, that means it is invariably going to be more interesting in what it can offer. For example, we decided not to offer any big brands. We offer items from around the world and very locally. We are able to work with small makers, designers and artists and we work with small importers who bring wonderful things from around the world.
- What would you like to let the public know about being an Independent?
I hope it shows, but we do love this community. All of you!
- Are there any news, offers, events you have coming up that you want Harborne to know about?
Last year we started a Professional Piercing studio at the shop called Aura Piercing. Charlie the piercer is taking appointments for piercings now. Its a great time of year for a first piercing as the Summer is a great opportunity for the piercing to heal. All other piercings also available.
