Spencer Shaw Solicitors has been named Law Firm of the Year (1-49 employees) at the Birmingham Law Society 2025 awards.

The Employment-law firm, located on Harborne Park Road, was shortlisted for its excellent customer service, commitment to providing a happy workplace and dedication to supporting the local community!

Director and Principal Solicitor Ian Jones said, “I am very proud of our entire team, who work incredibly hard to provide excellent advice and service to our clients. Thank you to all our clients who take the time to leave reviews, as we know this plays a huge part in this recognition. I set up Spencer Shaw in 2007 to create a different sort of law firm, where staff were happy and focused on exceptional service. I’m delighted that this approach has paid off.”

The firm is hoping this is the start of a winning streak, as it is also shortlisted for Employment Team of the Year and the Award for Customer Care at the LexisNexis Awards, and Boutique Firm (1-10 employees) and the Client Care Award (1-25 employees) at the Modern Law Awards. Winners of these awards will be announced in March - we’ll be keeping out eye out for the winner!

Spencer Shaw Solicitors moved to Harborne in 2021 and has since become an active part of our BID community and supporter of local charity Queen Alexandra College. We are delighted to see the firm rightfully celebrated!
