In 2024 the Vietnamese restaurant known by many for its space in Birmingham’s Grand Central announced it was opening another location right here on our high street (in place of the departing Raja Monkey).
This January, an opening date has been set and Phở will be opening its doors officially on Friday 17th January and offering free Phở to customers all day - while stock lasts!
For those that are unfamiliar with the restaurant, Phở opened a decade ago as a joint venture between Stephen and Juliette Wall, who fell in love with Vietnamese cuisine and its staple dish after a trip to its home country.
They made the decision to celebrate the dish here in England and have now opened a series of restaurants around the country serving healthy, freshly cooked Vietnamese food at great value!
So you know more about the restaurant but what about the signature dish itself? For those that haven’t tried or are unfamiliar with Phở, the dish consists of a flavourful broth, rice noodles, herbs and thin slices of meat (usually beef or chicken). Its adaptability is one of the reasons it's eaten so widely and at any meal time. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner time or you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet - the dish can be adapted to suit your needs!
The Phở menu also includes plenty of other Vietnamese starters and entrees including summer rolls, salads, wok noodles and rice bowls.
Take a look at the full menu here. And make sure you join Phở on Friday 17th January to make the most of their giveaway.
