Following the announcement of Boris Johnson's Three Tier lockdown system, Birmingham, including Harborne, has been categorised as Tier 2.

Under Tier 2, residents in the affected areas must not (unless they’re in your support or childcare bubble):

• Host people you do not live with in your home
• Meet people you do not live with in their home
• Socialise with people you do not live with in any indoor settings, including pubs and restaurants. This applies whether they are inside or outside of the affected local areas.

However they will be able to:

• Meet another household in a private garden - up to the rule of six.

Venues that definitely are classed as indoor settings include restaurants, bars, pubs, social clubs, casinos, and cafes.

Under Tier 2, businesses WON'T be legally required to close.
