The New Inn

Just off the high street, on Vivian Road, The New Inn is your classic, no fuss pub – comfortable, cosy with a great range of beers on tap and a reliable menu that doesn’t break the bank. Recently under new management, the pub has added some incredible cask beers to its menu that are always changing!

O’Neill’s

Based at the very top of the top O’Neill’s is an Irish themed pub that always has something going on whether it’s live music, live sport or a banging offer you can take advantage of. Spacious and sleek inside, stop by for a laid back place to catch up with friends or watch the football – Premier League, Champions League they show it all.

The Junction

You can’t miss The Junction right at the centre of the high street. It’s another reliable spot with an easy atmosphere, traditional interiors and no nonsense menu. Stop by in the week to make the most of their weekday offers, from Tap Tuesday (20% off cask beers and ciders) to 2 for £13 cocktails running Monday – Thursday.

The Plough

The award winning gastro pub isn’t just a favourite of the community, it’s a favourite of the whole city – and for good reason! The drink menu is vast and reliable, the interiors are pristine and picture perfect but the menu is where the pub really sings! Stonebaked pizzas, cubano sandwiches, hearty burgers and plenty more with deals that make it student worthy: 2 For 1 Pizza Mondays, 2 For 1 Burger Tuesdays, 2 For 1 Cubano Wednesdays.

Hop Garden

Located just off the high street on Metchley Lane, Hop Garden is a picturesque pub to enjoy in the right weather! The pub serves up a range of cask ales and ciders with a menu that changes regularly. While there is plenty of space indoors the majority of its tables are outside in their perfect pub garden. A whole host of picnic tables and small tables and chairs, string lights, a shed for screening live sports and heaters for the colder weather, it’s definitely the top choice for an evening out with friends and comes alive especially in the weather.
