Every Christmas the same dilemma always arises, where can the office go for a meal that will please everyone? Lucky for offices everywhere, Harborne is home to a range of outstanding restaurants that are perfect for a seasonal meal with the workplace. Here are some of our favourite options for an office outing everyone will enjoy!

 

The Proud Sicilian
A new addition to the high street, The Proud Sicillian has a menu filled with authentic Italian favourites from antipasti boards, pasta, pizza and a wide range of incredible desserts. They also have a drinks menu, offering choices of wine from different Italian regions. 

The whole office can enjoy a taste of Italy surrounded by flowers and lemon trees, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Sicily.

Hengata
Another recent addition to the Harborne high street, Hengata offers a more casual fine dining experience. With a Sri Lankan inspired menu, laid back booth seating and a drinks menu offering natural wine and craft beers, the whole office can enjoy an incredible dining experience and relax into the Christmas season.

Mela
Mela is a traditional Indian restaurant boasting a menu filled with classics the whole office can enjoy. Atmospheric lighting and simple white decor makes for a relaxed, welcoming environment perfect for a more celebratory meal to usher in the holidays.

Barsana 

For a more inclusive office meal, Barsana is a purely vegetarian and vegan Indian restaurant, offering everyone’s favourites with a guilt-free twist. The drinks menu also includes alcohol free mocktails for those that might have to return to the office the following day!

Sabai Sabai

Sabai Sabai is a taste of Thailand found on the corner of the high street. The menu is filled with classic Thai dishes, from noodles, work-fry’s, seafood and curries. With platters and set menus available in a comfortable low light, booth seating environment, it’s a great choice for a memorable office meal.

Tropea

This intimate Italian restaurant is perfect for smaller offices or smaller office gatherings. Featured in the Michelin guide, it may be hard to book a table but it’s worth it for a variety of incredible small plates, authentic homemade pasta, italian wines, and a buzzing atmosphere.
