Join our course and learn all about HMRC rules and regulations, keeping records, how figures are calculated on a Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, and what those reports tell you about your business’s strengths and weaknesses. You’ll also learn the difference between cash and profit, how to keep it healthy, and how to prepare and manage a budget.
The course consists of four 1.5 hour sessions held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. The cost is £30 + VAT per session.
This final session will take place on Wednesday 16 July 2025 and uses the information learnt in the previous sessions to analyse a budget by identifying significant variances to your business plans. The activity will involve comparing actual figures to targets and plans, deciding if the differences need further investigation and finding the reason for the differences so that we can put them right. It will also show what is going right in the business!
By completing all four sessions, you’ll achieve a Certificate of Continuing Professional Development with 7 CPD points awarded by the CPD Certification Service. Great for your CV or CPD record.
