Are you a business owner or employee who needs to understand accounts? Perhaps you’ve studied accounting in the past and need an update, or you simply want to know how to grow your business and stay compliant.
If so, take a look at our Finance for the non-Financial course, now running on Wednesday evenings at Acc-Unique Solutions, 17 High Street, Harborne.
Join our course and learn all about HMRC rules and regulations, keeping records, how figures are calculated on a Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, and what those reports tell you about your business’s strengths and weaknesses. You’ll also learn the difference between cash and profit, how to keep it healthy, and how to prepare and manage a budget.
The course consists of four 1.5 hour sessions held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. The cost is £30 + VAT per session.
The first session will take place on Wednesday 25 June 2025 and helps you to understand the differences between sole trader organisations and limited companies. We cover filing deadlines, compliance and what you need to keep and record to help your accountant, satisfy HMRC and maintain an easy to use, efficient system for your business.
By completing all four sessions, you’ll achieve a Certificate of Continuing Professional Development with 7 CPD points awarded by the CPD Certification Service. Great for your CV or CPD record.

Our small classes have just 8-10 people per session.
