Harborne good news round-up: June 2022

New burger restaurant to open in the Village

We’re super excited for The Bun & Barrel to arrive in Harborne – and it’s coming from none other than the team behind the incredible Harborne Kitchen!

No opening date has been released yet, but you can expect epic burgers, pool tables and much more. 

New piercing studio also set to open

We’re definitely looking forward to Aura Piercing opening, which is a new queer, neurodivergent friendly piercing studio!

This will be part of Harborne favourite Silver & Love, your go-to for gorgeous jewellery for yourself and for gifts – don’t forget to check out their Pride collection too.

Rustic Table reopens

Rustic Table is a Harborne must-visit for delicious tapas – and they’ve reopened under new ownership recently!

There’s no better time to enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean now summer has begun, and also try their vast cocktail selection when you visit. 

Paul at no 41 wins top accolade

It’s no secret that Paul at no 41 is a fine choice for breakfast – and this has recently been recognised by the Birmingham Mail too, ranking it 7th in their top breakfast places in Brum!

Harborne Carnival returns

Celebrating its 25th year, residents and beyond descended on Harborne on Sunday 26th June for the family carnival fun. 

Digbeth Dining Club paid a visit to the Village with some of their top street food vendors, and many of our local businesses also had exciting offerings for the event. 

Harborne celebrates Jubilee style

The Platinum Jubilee was certainly a long weekend to remember, and we are grateful for everyone who made our celebrations happen!

We firstly want to thank the local primary schools for taking part in our Platinum Portraits competition, creating amazing images of the Queen to decorate the High Street with.

We’re also grateful for everyone who stopped by for our face painting and crown making workshops on the Saturday.
