Nights are drawing in, temperatures are dropping and the winter layers are making a return. It must mean that it’s that spooOOOoookkkyyy time of year again! What better way to celebrate Halloween than with an afternoon of ghost hunting?
Unfortunately, traditional trick or treating isn’t recommended this year because of the risk of COVID-19, and of course the safety and wellbeing of our community is our top priority. Thankfully, we’ve come up with a great alternative so that we can still have some Halloween fun in a much safer way.
This year, businesses up and down Harborne High Street have agreed to participate in a ‘shop window’ trail on Saturday 31st October! They will be decorating their windows to give you and your family a fright, so if you were planning on going trick or treating this Halloween, why not swing by Harborne High Street instead!
This is a great excuse to dig out the fancy dress and have fun with a safe and socially-distanced alternative to trick or treating. Snap plenty of pictures along the way and who knows… you might just win yourself a prize!
To enter our competition, all you have to do is take pictures of our haunted shop windows on your way around the Harborne Halloween trail, and send them in to us via our Facebook or Instagram! Every picture is worth 1 entry into a prize draw to win treats and goodies, with multiple winners selected at random. Good luck!
There are lots of haunted businesses on our High Street this year, so make sure you visit them all with the help of our list below. Have fun!
