A Harborne solicitor is set to raise money for local charity Edward’s Trust with a 100km trek across the Peak District!

Ian Jones, founder and principal solicitor of Spencer Shaw Solicitors, will be taking on this epic challenge with a team on 9th July, which includes 2450m of incline and 28 hours of continuous walking.

This is not only to raise money for Edgbaston-based Edward’s Trust, who help families through bereavement with counselling, wellbeing support and therapy, but to also mark 15 years of founding Spencer Shaw.

Ian said: “I’ve cycled 100km before but walking it will be new for me. As it happens to fall in our anniversary year, it seemed a good time to take on a new challenge to celebrate. We have supported Edward’s Trust for many years, and knowing how important the work they do will hopefully get me through any tough parts of the trek.”

You can read more about Ian’s challenge here and make a donation via JustGiving. You can also read about Ian’s work and Spencer Shaw Solicitors here

We wish Ian the best of luck with his charity trek, and look forward to seeing how much is raised for the amazing Edward’s Trust!
