Harborne in Bloom

Our Summer planters have finally arrived in Harborne and are already bringing new life to our streets! We’re thrilled to see Harborne in bloom as we continue to enjoy more freedom with lockdown restrictions easing over the past couple of months. 

Hopefully you’ll notice that the BID has taken the time to have each planter specially designed to attract insects and bees. If you look closely you can already see the bees enjoying the flowers in our pictures below! These planters are just one part of our wider plan to be more environmentally conscious here in Harborne. 

A special shoutout goes to each and every BID business that has helped to fund these beautiful planters and let us see Harborne in bloom this Summer. A huge thank you to the team at Birmingham City Council’s Cofton Nurseries for supplying the planters. There’s another floral surprise coming in the next few weeks, so be sure to keep a look out for that!
