Harborne Hotspots – Socialising Outside

Birmingham is now on high alert as part of the government’s new COVID tier system – their latest way to assess the threat level of the virus from region-to-region in the UK. For now, Birmingham residents cannot legally mix indoors with households other than their own, including in hospitality, leisure, and retail establishments.

With that said, socialising outside is still allowed, even with people from different households, providing you keep to the rule of 6! Quite certainly boasting one of the best beer gardens in Birmingham, The Plough is a much-loved Harborne hub. Both walk-ins and bookings are welcome, but we’d recommend booking in advance online here to guarantee a table in their famous beer garden. The team have just added some NEW covered and heated outdoor spots, with more to come. Plus, they’re currently giving away a FREE kids meal with every adult meal – unmissable!

The New Inn – 74 Vivian Road
What’s not to love about The New Inn? Sign up to their mailing list and you’ll receive a free drink voucher! Tiffin – 69 High Street
Call 0121 426 4440 to request a table outside the front of one of Harborne’s warm and friendly Indian restaurants. Open 7 days a week from 5:30pm, the team promises a majestic dining experience bursting with the finest elegant Indian cuisine. Tables outside are limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended.

The Proud Sicilian – 73 High Street
Check out the brand new Autumn/Winter menu at The Proud Sicilian while taking in a spot of people watching in their lovely outdoor seating area. You don’t need to make a reservation, but it is advisable if you want to guarantee a spot outside – call 0121 427 2560.

Brewer’s Social – 77 High Street
